Hiv and Pap smears???? Mar 7, 2013 I tested negative past 6 months after vaginal sex with a random girl for hiv, all other stds, and hepatitus. Got told from everyone my symptoms meant nothing and I was ok to go back to unprotected sex with my monogamous clean gf so I did. Now she went in for her checkup and has an abnormal pap!!!! I'm so terrified I gave her something even though I tested negative. My antibody tests where after 6 months of a one time event. I'm losing it. :( plz help mam with your knowledge. |

 HI Having an abnormal Pap smear is something that all women have to go through. Not too many women living with HIV or not have had at least one pap come back reading something abnormal and the doctor recommends returning for a repeat. This does not mean she has HIV.
