so scared Feb 26, 2013 dear sir I had protected sex with a female in India during my visiti to India two days ago.I want to know how safe condoms are. I used condom properly.once I removed condom I saw some scratches below the head part of the penis that part is covered by foreskin. condom did not break and I am sure about it. is it possible for hiv to penetrate when condom is not broken. I am really scared. it was dotted moods condom. please tell me. I am scared Davie |

 Thanks for your question, I understand you're worried, but remember: a latex or polyurethane condom prevents HIV as long as it doesn't break! So it doesn't sound like you were at risk. What's going on with your foreskin may just be because that's a sensitive part of the penis.. Hope this helps! Erik | ||||||||
