Response from Mr. Cordova
Hi there: Anytime you engage in unprotected vaginal or anal sex, the risk for HIV is increased. Unprotected penetrative sex is a high-risk activity, especially for the receptive partner. If your partner's blood got into your urethra that would increase the likelihood of transmission. If neither of you have HIV, then there is no way for transmission to occur. One partner MUST have the virus for there to be a risk of transmission. Next to abstinence, using a condom for each act of penetrative sex is on the best ways to protect yourself against HIV and many other STD's. In health, Richard | |||||||||
