Case of gingivitis and deep kissing Help Jan 31, 2013 Hi I am HIV negative and was involved in deep kissing with a guy of unknown status for several hours!I have gingivitis and after kissing when I went to rinse my mouth in the bathroom it was tinged with blood.What are my risks?I'm simply going mad thinking of this! |

 Hi there: Thanks for writing in. The risk from deep kissing is very low. Unless there was blood gushing from his mouth, I would not be concerned. If you haven't already done so, I would suggest a visit to your doctor. Proper oral hygiene is important to overall wellness and should not be ignored. In health, Richard | ||||||||
