Hi You had unprotected sex, hence there is a risk there! HIV transmission from women to men is difficult but can happen. The guidelines for HIV testing are to be initially tested at 3 weeks then again at 90 days if this test is negative than so are you. Keep in mind that HIV is not the only sexually transmitted infection to be concerned about. Herpes, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphyllis etc.. are all risk when having unprotected sex. Testing not only for HIV but all of the other STI's is important to have done as well. Be well, Shannon | |||||||||
