| HIV Test Results Jan 21, 2013 HI, I got tested for STDs about a week ago at Planned Parenthood and we can see the results online. Surprisingly, the results came out within a day or two even though they said it can take up to two weeks. However, they only had results for syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia (no HIV). I'm confused, if they had already tested for syphilis which is by blood, wouldn't they have HIV results already also? Or could this mean that the test came out positive and now they are doing further to tests to make sure it's not a false positive? |

Hello there- No all tests take different times to run regardless of whether they are both done using a blood sample. i would not take this to mean that your HIV test returned positive. Take care, LHW | |||||||||
