| blood in my mouth Jan 16, 2013 dear shannon..i have protected sex with csw..but while doing deep kissing there is a girl's blood inside my mouth..and i have little one oral thrush..i have tested at 6 week and 13 week by CMIA method and all came back negative..but i am not sure for the result because of any symptom..do i in the high risk for HIV ? |

Hi Oral sex carries the lowest risk of HIV transmission and you cannot get HIV through kissing. Though with your kissing you had thrush and there was blood this does increase the risk some. The testing guidelines are to be initially tested at 3 weeks post exposure then again at 90 days if this test is negative than so are you. With your test at 13 weeks being negative and if there have been no other exposures during this time then you are HIV free. Be well and stay safe, Shannon | |||||||||
