| fear of hiv Jan 9, 2013 i had sex with a prostitute. i wore a condom. im 90 percent sure it did not break. but i was drunk so who knows. i only had sex with her one time and she did give me hsv 2 but that can be given without protection. i tested neg for chlmydia and gonorrea. i did ejaculate but it was in the condom. a month later i am not sleepn well i am now freakn out that im hiv pos. lets say it did break. what are my chances if she was positive for hiv?? |

Hi You had protected sex which decreases the risk of HIV transmission dramatically. It is also much more difficult for a woman to pass the virus onto a man. But seeing that there was another sexually transmitted infection present and passed does increase the chances of HIV transmission if indeed she is positive.
