Response from Ms. Southall
Hi The guidelines for HIV testing is to be initially tested at 3 weeks and then again at 90 days. As long as there were no exposures during this 90 day period of time, your test is conclusive. Your course of testing continuing after 4 years since the exposure and all of them coming back negative is showing that you are HIV free. My recommendation to you is that you follow up with your health care provider for evaluation of your ongoing symptoms. But it is not HIV. Be well and stay safe, Shannon | |||||||||
