So worried .... Please my head will explode

Jan 6, 2013

Hi Dr shanon I've been under HIV risk before 9 months with unknown status girl, after that day, I had my first HIV test called (HIV AB/AG) after 3 months and came with negative result, then I had the same test again after 6 months and came with nigative result... Test details as follows.. HIV AG.AB Negative. By CMIA is that enough to get this story out of my head because every a while I'm being very worried when I remember this ... Waiting for your answer ... Is that enogh or I've to do something else??

Response from Ms. Southall

HI The guidelines for testing are to be initially tested at 3 weeks then again at 90 days, if this test is negative than so are you. You were tested at 6 months with a negative test you are HIV free from your exposure.

Be well and stay safe, Shannon

dr shannon pls clear my doubt!!
This may have been asked before but I am asking again...
