broken condom Jan 1, 2013 i had sex with a prostitute, her vagina was pretty dry, during intercourse, the condom broke, i took my penis out, she wiped it with tissue, and replaced the condom, even with the replaced condom there was no ejaculation could i still be at risk of HIV? |

 Hi The likelihood of HIV transmission is very small because you notice right away that the condom had broken and you put a new one on. A couple of things to keep in mind, one it is more difficult for a woman to pass the virus to a man though it is possible, also most of the time when a condom breaks it is because it was put on incorrectly or in your instance there wasn't enough lubrication. Using water based lubricant will help when your partner is dry. Be well and stay safe, Shannon | ||||||||
