Worried about contracting

Dec 28, 2012

6 months ago I had received unprotected oral sex and then three months after that I started to notice my lymph nodes in my neck and chin were slightly swollen and now the end of my penis has some pain and feels as though it's oozing but I don't feel or see any drippage on my leg or clothes..Also my lymph nodes are still slightly swollen . Just seeing if you can help in anyway of cleaning my mind of this...Thank you for time

Response from Mr. Cordova

Hi there:

The risk of HIV transmission from unprotected insertive oral sex is low. I would not be concerned about transmission of HIV. It is possible to contract other STD's via oral sex. Syphilis, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea can all be transmitted via oral sex. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea can both cause discharge from the penis and testicular pain. If you are experiencing symptoms I would suggest a full panel of STD testing just to be safe.

In health,

dear richard
