Need some advice. Oral hiv / hopefully something else
Dec 27, 2012
Hi. I had gave unprotected oral sex to a girl . A week later to 4 days I had a crack halfway from the back of my tongue and a bump at the back right side with no pain and I could kind of see tiny red bumps on tip of tpngue . Now it's been 7 months the crack looks the same cant remember if it looked white dry looking back then but it does now however the tiny bumps are more visible and I think one of them turned white or it just Appeared this week and it hurts when I touch it . Is it possible to see any symptoms on your tongue just after 5 days . It kind of getting me worried . Is it possible i have An sti or is it just a tongue problem like geographic tongue or something
Response from Ms. Southall
Hi Oral sex carries the lowest risk of HIV transmission. The symptoms you are experiencing do not sound like HIV symptoms, they can be symptoms of other sexually transmitted infections or just something else going on. I would recommend following up with your health care provider to be assessed to see what may be going on.
Be well and stay safe, Shannon
