hello dr shannon i had a sex with condom but it was failured after that i had a small small symptoms like slightly headache vomiting little itch after 90 days i did anti screening1/2 test negative again i feel wooried getting anxiety so i did test at 18th week same negative reslut both are blood test but still im scared i have one side headache and back nervers headache but last 5 months i was in fully anxiety fear what is my status dr shannon i need your help please tell me thank you(my climate condition is very cold)

Hi The guidelines for HIV testing are to be initially tested at 3 weeks then again at 90 days, if both of these tests are negative then so are you, as long as there were no other types of exposure during that 3 month period, if so then the timing starts over again.
Having your test come back at the 18 week mark and being negative shows that you are as well! I would recommend following up with your healthcare provider for the symptoms you are having, the headache etc. Not for HIV but to see what else could be going on .
