testing negative Dec 12, 2012 Dear Dr. i had unprotected insertive anal sex..But I tested 84 days negative ..The result was HIV 1 / 2 antibody non-reactive in a hospital in UAE..Is this conclusive?? I am confused sometimes they are saying 84 or 90 days... |

 Hi there: While 90 days is considered conclusive, I would feel extremely confident in the results of your 84 day test. I do not think you need to test for this incident again, but with the expectation that you are tested for HIV and all other STD's at least once a year, and preferably every six months.
