Hi I'm sorry I wasn't clear. Oral sex carries the lowest risk of HIV transmission but yes there are still risk for other sexually transmitted infections. STI's and HIV are not different, they are all sexually transmitted infections. If you are concerned about the possible other STI's then yes seeing your health care provider is recommended.
