Can you get HIV if you perform French Kiss with someone who is HIV+ with oral ulcer as well? Dec 2, 2012 Can you get HIV if you perform French Kiss with someone who is HIV+ with oral ulcer as well? I recently kissed someone whom I just met and during that time I had one oral ulcer on my tongue and I believe he had an oral ulcer as well when we kissed. Im not sure about his HIV status but im just bothered that he might have HIV. Is it possible if an HIV+ person with oral ulcer french kiss an HIV- person with oral ulcer as well, can the HIV- person get HIV? |

 Hi Oral sex carries the lowest risk of HIV transmission. Yes it does increase some if you both have an open ulcer that are bleeding or recently open, but it only increases some it still is a very small risk for HIV transmission to occur. Be well, Shannon | ||||||||
