| hiv from non penetrative encounter Nov 29, 2012 Hi, I had an encounter with another man where I gave oral with a conddom. Then I took the condom off him and gave him a handjob. I didn't notice any lesion or any secretion from his penis. I started to masturbate myself with the same hand I used to give him the handjob. Is my encounter a risk of contracting hiv? |

Response from Mr. Glenn
Thanks for your question, The answer is No, this is not a risk for HIV. For someone to get HIV, there needs to be HIV+ body fluid coming out of someone's body and going directly/immediately inside of someone else's body. That's why unprotected penetration can be risky. Masturbation is not. There is no way for that to happen in the situation you're describing. Hope this helps! Erik | |||||||||
