5th month symptoms Nov 13, 2012 hello dr shannon i did hiv antibody test at 90th day that was negative after my 1 time encounter that was i used condom but broken ,then this is my 5th month now i have slightly skin itch and cold and cough but i dont know about that sex worker status am i infected? i need to do anotheer test pls answer to me thank you |

 Hi The guidelines for HIV testing are to be initially tested at 3 weeks then again at 90 days, if both of these tests are negative then so are you, as long as there were no other types of exposure during that 3 month period, if so then the timing starts over again.
