|how HIV survives inside the body

How does the virus survive inside the body? I know it uses a certain immune cell to replicate so if you were to somehow eliminate those from a person who is infected body then isolate them(so they can't get sick)would the virus eventually die out? (before eliminating the immune cell, locate one that is uninfected so that you could clone that cell to replace the lost cells)

Hello there- I would suggest the following article on the body website describing the HIV lifecycle at http://www.thebody.com/content/art58933.html as well as an interesting story of the Berlin patient, a man who was "cured" of his HIV by receiving a bone marrow transplant for acute leukemia. http://www.thebody.com/content/art53624.html
these articles should hopefully address the very good questions you posed. Take care, LHW
