uric acid+cpk high Sep 30, 2012 hi,i slept with sex workers in thailand,when i got backhome i felt all hiv sympthoms,i had done alot of hiv test plus blood test,last one was hiv combo which came back negative after eight month,but blood test showed that i have uric acid in blood 7.9h and cpk 229h,my question is how much accurate hiv combo after eight month and does uric acid and cpk related to hiv? thank you for yourtime... |

 Hi The guidelines for HIV testing are to be initially tested at 3 weeks then again at 3 months, if both of these tests are negative then so are you, as long as there were no other types of exposure during that 3 month period, if so then the timing starts over again. uric acid and cpk would not affect the outcome of the results.
