| chances of being infected with HIV Sep 26, 2012 HI, I had one time unprotected Vaginal sex with a french internee whom i have known for past six months. She confirmed me that she was not infected. But i am a little worried now. Its been 25 days after the encounter and still i dont have the flu, fever or the white patches in my mouth. 1. what are the chance of me being infected? 2. when is the right time to get tested? kindly advice me since i am really worried. Response from Mr. Cordova
Hi there: Since this was a one-time occurrence, you were the insertive partner, and your partner believes herself to be HIV negative, I would say the likelihood of you being HIV positive is fairly low. You can get an accurate HIV (and all other STD's) test at the three month mark. Thanks for writing in. In health, Richard | |||||||||
