| Worrying here..Please Answer Dr Wohl.. Sep 16, 2012 4 weeks ago i had a protected sex with sex worker of about 2 mins and gentle kissing involved. After that i verified the condoms did not fail. Some of my friends said that escorts mostly infected. So it made me crazy. Now it 5th week in progress, i dont have any symptoms. After 21 days mark i went for the below and got my results. Please advice. HIV-1 RNA, QA, RT PCR - Result: Negative HIV Anitbody, HIV - 1/2, EIA with Reflex to Western Blot - Result - NON REACTIVE - Negative 1. Can I move on without any fear of infection? 2. Do I need to take test after 8 or 12 weeks? Please advice. |

Your risk was nil and your testing negative. I say you are done with testing. DW | |||||||||
