 Hello there- Certainly this could constitute a risk for acquiring HIV or other STDs. I would talk immediately to a medical provider as you may be a candidate for post-exposure prophylaxis depending on their evaluation and that will need to be given within 72 hours of the exposure. They will also likely recommend testing for other STDs. There are no specific recommendations for cleaning that will prevent acquisition of HIV. Take care, LHW | ||||||||
