ed and hiv positive

Sep 9, 2012

i have ed and my wife is hiv positive i am wondering after taking the meds for ed should my wife help me to an erection or should i try and do it on my own and what steps should i take putting on a condom sice i am shy and never used an condom how can i over this problem to have great sex with my wife is there anything to eworry about that is out of range of safe sex

Response from Ms. Southall

Hello Your wife should be every part of your sexual life. Yes she should help you with your erection and yes you need to wear a condom. Your wife should most definitely be in care and on treatment to decrease the chances of HIV transmission. Though it is difficult for women to pass the virus along it is possible. Get your wife involved in the process of placing the condom on. With my husband being negative being able to have a safe place to explore our sex lives have made it that much better for both of us.

Be well and stay safe, Shannon
