| burning sensation on my finger tips after touching HIV+ person Aug 31, 2012 Doc, i shaked an hiv+ person and after some few seconds i started feeling a burning sensation on my finger tips and my fingers started getting a little stiff. I have not been myself since then, that was 3days ago. Im i at risk? Pls answer me. Worried person |

There is absolutely no risk from the situation you're describing. None. You cannot get HIV from touching someone who has HIV! To get HIV, a body fluid with HIV has to come out of someone's body and go directly/immediately inside someone else's body. None of this occurred in your situation.
