Biting
Aug 30, 2012

Hi

When i eat and chew food, sometimes i bite my inner cheek (i think it is called that way..) and tongue, and it causes small amount of blood and also a little wound.

Suppose i deep kiss someone with an open wound inside her mouth. could the Hiv virus transfer to me or from me?

Thanks I appreciate your great work here.

Response from Dr. Wohl

Probably not without a lot of blood and a lot of virus in her body. General rule: when kissing if you taste blood, stop.
