|Breaking of a condom
Aug 13, 2012
Hello there. I had a sexual intercourse with a prostitude and i am in fear about the hiv... I was wearing a condom during the sexual intercourse. When we finished and tried to take it out, it broke(but not during the intercourse).finally, is it more difficult for the hiv to be passed from a woman to a man? Thank you very much!

Thanks for your question,
If you used a condom and it didn't break while you were inside, then there wouldn't be any risk for HIV from that. Additionally, you're right that it's more difficult for a woman to give it to a man (that's relatively speaking though).. there are many things that go into risk. Fortunately, in your case you used a "barrier" (condom) so that kept you from having any risk.
Hope this helps!
