| HIV SCARE! Jul 24, 2012 Hello Doctors, I visited a sex worker 2 weeks ago and engaged in protected oral and vaginal sex. However due to a moment of folly, I went down on her and licked her genital once and pulled away immediately for fear of contracting anything. Assuming I have a ulcer in the inside of my cheek, how would you rate the risk of my exposure? Thanks. Badly worried. |

Response from Dr. Hightow-Weidman
Hello- Your risk is low, performing oral sex is a very low risk activity (even if you did have an ulcer on the inside of your mouth). Take care, LHW | |||||||||
