Iam dying Help me

Jul 14, 2012

I had sex with 3 diff ppl who are of negative after 3months i have gone for ELISA test, the test was negative now what are chances of me HIV in future?? As of now i had no STDS i have irritation and burning in the vaginal area after my medication tht was also controlled so plz help me out...

Response from Ms. Southall

Hi The guidelines for HIV testing are to be initially tested at 3 weeks then again at 3 months, if both of these tests are negative then so are you. Having an STD does increase your chance of getting HIV but not from past experiences where you have tested negative after 3 months. It is future exposures that you would need to be concerned about. Ensure that your STI is under control and/or ensure you are using protection.

Be well and stay safe, Shannon
