fremch kissing with bleeding gums
Jun 30, 2012

ho Shannon about 2years ago deep kiss this guy. I have bleeding gums. my husband and I were separated when this happen. about a couple of weeks later we got back together. we decided to have another baby and about a year later after possible exposure I got pregnant. I test negative to hiv a little over 12 months from the time I kissed this stranger( stupid) my question is am I okay. I have not been feeling well later. please let me know

Response from Ms. Southall

Hi Oral sex including kissing carries the lowest risk of HIV transmission. The guidelines for HIV testing are to be initially tested at 3 weeks then again at 3 months, if both of these tests are negative then so are you. Was your husband tested? Just a question of what he may have done while you were separated. If you and he have both been tested and they show negative then so are you! I don't want to put thoughts in your head but it is good to know your husbands status as well. If you do know his status and with your test is negative then so are you!

Be well and stay safe, Shannon
