Hi Shannon, Last week i had a swollen gums after 2-3 days the swollen gums is gone but everytime i swallow, theres a pain in my right throat but the pain gone after 1 day, then now, coughing. Is this HIV symptoms?

Hi Swollen glands can be a symptom of HIV but they can also be symptoms of many different things. Depending on your HIV exposure, if you have been put at risk, unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse, sharing needles then you need to be tested. The guidelines for HIV testing are to be initially tested at 3 weeks then again at 3 months, if both of these tests are negative then so are you.
