candida candida candida you must answer May 30, 2012 i had un protected vaginal sex 4 years ago. after one of the sex i feel chills with fever and then flu for two weeks and during this period i also have oral thrush, then after few days i have burning of hand and feet nausea , sweating and congestion in brain and mind . still i am facing these symptoms along with dizziness. please suggest what is this and especially tell me the treatment of oral candiasis. |

 Hi You had unprotected sex, hence you put yourself at risk. You need to receive testing, the guidelines for HIV testing are to be initially tested at 3 weeks then again at 3 months, if both of these tests are negative then so are you. Since you are well beyond the 3 month period and if there have been no other exposures getting a test now will let you know for sure if you are HIV positive or not. Be well and get tested!
