hi, mr cordova
May 19, 2012
i did my hiv test 77 days after the incident in a laboratory. then, i did other test, and they found i have Candida albicans
my hiv test came out negative... but i want to know if candida albicans have to do something with hiv?
and if the virus can turn + in 13 days.... which i did at 77 days.
Response from Mr. Cordova
90 days is considered conclusive, but I would feel confident of the test result at 77 days. Candida albicans lives in 80% of the human population without causing harmful effects but can cause a problem for people with late-stage HIV infection i.e. AIDS. In your situation, the Candida has nothing to do with HIV. I hope this helps.
