re: fresh wound risk May 6, 2012 sorry to bother again but last query. Assuming my wound is exposed to drop of hiv blood, would you still consider it as a low risk than unsafe sex with infected person? ( which is less than 3% per episode) fresh wound risk May 5, 2012 Hi During an accident, I got a wound which would be 1cm in diameter. During same accident, few other people got injured. My wound wasn't bleeding much. If this wound had come in contact with say a drop of blood from other injured person, what are percentage chances of hiv? The wound was not washed till we reach hospital. Is this risk more than unsafe sex? |
