Response from Ms. Southall
Hi Protected vaginal sex gives you protection from HIV transmission. The other activities you described will not increase your risk as long as you had no openings, cuts or sores in your mouth and if she has HIV and her viral load is very high. Not knowing her status, is HIV transmission possible, yes, is it probable NO. The symptoms you describe can come from many things, you could just have a cold. If you continue to be concerned about your HIV status the best thing to do is get tested! Be well and stay safe, Shannon | |||||||||
