Can I trust these results?

Apr 21, 2012

I had a HIV test last year, about & months after possible exposure. The results were non-reactive. I was having symptoms That i felt were consistant with HIV when tested. I am worried the results were wrong. Should I worry?

Response from Ms. Southall

Hi I can't make out the the number of months after your possible exposure. Here is the recommendation for testing, the first 3 weeks after the exposure then again at 3 months. If no other exposure happened during this time and the test comes back negative then you are negative from this experience.

Be well and stay safe, Shannon
