Cunninglingus during periodsApr 12, 2012 I recently performed Cunninglingus on a woman and noticed that there was tiny blood stain on the sheets afterwards. I was worried so I asked her if she was in periods and she said 'could be'! We used condom for sex. Now I'm really worried. Could Iget infected with *ANY* STD if I accidently swallowed her...gulp..bloody discharge? Please let me know if and when I should get tested. I would be eternally grateful for a prompt reply! |

![]() | Response from Mr. CordovaHi there: HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C can be transmitted via blood contact. However, oral sex is a low-risk activity. Getting blood in your mouth could increase the risk of transmission IF she was infected with HIV or Hepatitis. However, the increase in risk would be slight and I would not be concerned.
