Test or Not Mar 11, 2012 Hello Doctor thanks for your reply, I am married man. i have some enlarged (1cm) lymph nodes at groin area sometime its painful & uncomfortable at groin areas from 3 months (90 days) ago to till now. I have been unsafe sex one girl before 3 months (90 days) ago. At 9, 11 & 12 weeks i checked doctor he tested my blood like rapid Hiv/vdrl/tpha/HbsAg and result got all are negative. i have also check blood that girl at 3 months (90 days) her result also came negative. so should i check another hiv again or not? plz answer.. i am waiting your thanksful answer... |

 Hi The conclusive time for testing is at 90 days. If you have a test at your 90 day mark and it is negative you are negative from the experience. Also being screened for other sexually transmitted virus/infections is important as well. Be well and stay safe, Shannon | ||||||||
