|How did I get chlamydia??
Mar 2, 2012
Hi, I recently tested positive for urethral chlamydia. The nurse who treated me said that is normally caused by topping an infected person, and maybe in rare cases by having one give you head. The only person I have topped or who, as I recall, has given me head since many months before the last time I had been tested insists he has had sex with no one but me in that period, and fairly recently tested negative for STDs like chlamydia. I have, however, been topped by one another person recently. Is it possible I got urethral chlamydia from being topped? Or do I have to believe the other man (my partner) is lying? He and I are both HIV+ btw.

Chlamydia can be found in orifices such as the urethra, month, vaginal and rectum. Your friends may not have had all sites tested and may have the infection without knowing it. DW
