via cracked cold drinks bottle

Jan 12, 2012

one day i went to a cold drink shop .there i asked for a cold drink. while opening the bottle with the opener the boy there broke the top portion (the mouthpiece ) slightly. as i didn't notice , i just drank it after some time i noticed that blood coming from my inner lips due to the cracked on bottle mouthpiece.

my question is i didnt put attention on bottle before drinking whether there was any blood on the cracked portion of bottle which may be of that shopkeeper while opening the bottle he might have hurted himself and didnt tell me

2.i m not sure about his status also am i at risk of hiv..............pls help.................

Response from Dr. Wohl

There is no risk here even if the boy cut himself (although it would not take Sherlock Holmes to deduce that it was blood from your lip you saw). The mouth is not a great place to catch HIV.

indeterminate test results
Am Im infected with HIV due symptoms and false negatives test?
