I discovered my wife was positive from a previous relationship after two years of unprotected sex 16 Elissa tests and two Pcr Dna tests I am still negative. We now protect but can someone please explain this to me as my doctors are dodging the answere.

HIV is not transmitted during every sexual episode and when it is, an infection does not necessarily take place . Furthermore, the risk is lower for the insertive partner. Those things combined are the reason that you (luckily) were not infected.
