 Hi there: Someone who is a virgin could have caught HIV from sharing needles. So in that case, yes, it is possible to catch HIV from having unprotected anal sex, even if they are virgins. This would only be a risk for HIV, not other STD's. Catching HIV is easier or harder depending on the risk you are engaging in. Sharing needles, engaging in unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse will increase your chances of catching the virus. I would encourage you to use condoms for all episodes of penetrative sex, irregardless of whether or not they are a virgin. In health, Richard | ||||||||
