Chances of seroconversion after 8 weeks: update Jun 29, 2011 Dear Dr. Bob, First of all, Thanks for all your dedication in helping people. I wrote last time, that after taking PEP (Truvada) for 28 days for unprotected receptive anal with a poz guy, was negative ELISA at 8 weeks. Now I recently tested ELISA negative 15 weeks after exposure. Is this conclusive? I plan to get tested on the 24th week from date of exposure. Thank you for your time Dr. Bob. God Bless.  Hi. As I mentioned in my initial response (see link below), the guidelines for post-PEP HIV testing recommend testing at four to six weeks, three months and six months from the date of exposure.
