visions
Jun 23, 2011

I was walking down a busy street yesterday and a woman stared at me. I looked back stupidly. I believe I walked away after that. However, whenI slept that night and woke up in the morning alone on my bed, I had visions that I had sex with this person. My mind wanted me to believe I did and conjured up all sorts of sexual situations. My sex drive is amazingly high (but still a virgin) and I suffer from anxiety and depression. I am worried what if I really had sex with this person and I now have an STD like HIV.What should I do, kind Dr Bob? I am a nervous-wrecked young male student. Thank you honourable Dr Bob.

Response from Dr. Frascino

Hello, Charlie.

STDs, including HIV, are not your problem. No way. No how. However, Charlie, you do have a problem that requires medical attention. Your anxiety, depression and "visions" are significant enough to cause you to be a "nervous-wreck." I strongly urge you to consult a licensed mental health professional for evaluation and treatment of your irrational fears, "visions," anxiety and depression.

Good luck!

Dr. Bob
