 Hi. Interleukin-7 and gene manipulation of SOC-3 have been a focus of HIV research over the past year. The results are still preliminary, but very encouraging. Will this be the "cure" we are all patiently (or impatiently) waiting for? It's far too early to predict. See link below for information from the archives.
