| Super Symptomatic Oral Sex Jun 16, 2011 Hey Dr.Bob I recently gave unprotected oral to a tranxsexual with no ejaculation. In the following months I had tons of symptoms (swollen glands which persist, intermittent skin rashes, nail bed infection, ear infection, RECEDING GUMS, eye infection and a white tongue, and a super dry mouth.) Needless to say, I freaked out and got scared. I just got my 15 week (106 day 3rd gen elisa back and IT WAS NEGATIVE). Am I done testing or should I go to six months |

Response from Dr. Frascino
Hi. I would consider a negative HIV-antibody test at 106 days following a bout of unprotected oral tranny sex without ejaculation to be conclusive. Symptoms are unreliable in predicting who is and is not infected. If you remain worried, the option to get retested at the six-month mark is always open to you. I'm quite confident the result would once again be negative. Be well. Dr. Bob | |||||||||
