Please Dr.Bob, Am I at risk?
Jun 14, 2010
Dear Dr. Bob, I've combed your site and couldn't find an answer to my specific worry. I inadvertantly drank from my hiv pos co-workers glass, about 3 hours after I saw him flossing his teeth with one of those flosser/picky things. Would the flossing increase my risk from sharing his drink? Am I at risk? I am extremely worried as my husband and I are expecting our first child, and I would never want to risk his or her health. Thank you so much, and I will donate! PS...Thanks for all you do. Mia

Absolutely no HIV risk whatsoever! (You couldn't have "combed the site" too thoroughly, as there are many questions similar to yours in the archives, all with the identical response: no risk!)
