RNA testing please answer second time asking
Apr 22, 2010

Should I takne an rna test after 7 negative hiv test the last one was 21 months after the encounter. Hiv doctor wrote a script for me to said it would make sure that I don't have hiv because of me complaining of the same symptoms both me and my wife are having.

Response from Dr. Frascino

Hello,

I would advise against taking unnecessary tests. Your repeatedly negative HIV tests out to 21 months are definitive, conclusive, WOO-HOO-able and excessive. Exactly what part of "HIV negative" are you having difficulty understanding?
