 Hello, Yes. Unprotected insertive sex with a partner confirmed to be HIV positive is considered highly risky. You'll need HIV-antibody testing now and again at the three- and six-month marks. If you're still within the 72-hour window for your Brokeback Mountain lapse-in-judgement sexperience, a course of PEP would be warranted. But don't delay. The sooner PEP is started, the better chance it has of being effective in aborting HIV transmission. Dr. Bob | ||||||||
